Whey protein

Our Seniors (the oldies 🥰♥️) #Sarcopenia (loss of muscle mass) is a common syndrome which causes loss of functional strength and increases the risk of falls. Few things, among others, to keep in mind : ✅Your favorite humans would need adequate protein at each meal (at least 1, ideally 3) rather than an overall daily amount (0.4-0.6g/kg body weight each serving) ✅Appetite can reduce so whey #protein is a convenient, easy to prepare and easy to consume protein option. Show them how to make a smoothie, add it to oats, just add a scoop to a cup of milk, pancakes..list is endless. Most brands are sugar free, so is also ideal for those with diabetes. ✅And no! whey protein will not damage their kidneys. Protein intake needs to be monitored only if they suffer from kidney related ailments. ✅A little pair of dumbells as resistance training is another huge factor in minimizing sarcopenia. 👵👴 Was so happy to get this feedback ♥️ Do give this option a thought 💭
